Family owned and operated

Dr. J Automotive is a family owned and operated business. Since 1978, Dr. J Automotive has been a Huntington Beach landmark of excellence in auto care and repair. Currently servicing its customers from two locations, Doctor J has continually provided the best in technical expertise and customer satisfaction. Originally specializing in Nissans, Doctor J has extended its service to include Toyota, Lexus, Infiniti, Honda, Acura and many other import makes. In 1997, Dr. J opened a second facility to service domestic cars, specializing in Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs).

Why "Doctor"?

The owner, James Broussard, started his pursuit of automotive excellence in 1971 while working exclusively on Datsun makes and models such as the "Z." He developed a reputation that continues to follow him today. Being known for his attention to detail, cleanliness and wearing a white lab coat, James became known to his customers as "Doctor Z."

Building on his reputation, factory training and a commitment to excellence, James Broussard has made his vision of an experienced, honest and dedicated repair facility a reality. Today, he continues to bring that dedication and service to his customers at both of his Huntington Beach auto shops.
