To reduce the chances that there are germs lurking in your car. Start with the basics get out the vacuum and clean the carpets, seats, trunk and even the ceiling. Throw out anything you do not use. Clean the carpet and interior by mixing mild dish soap with water and using a soft brush everywhere, especially in small spaces and spots that are hard to reach. Then use disinfectant wipes or 70% isopropyl alcohol to wipe down all surfaces, and finish with a microfiber cloth. Pay special attention to switches, interior and exterior door handles, armrests, console covers, sun visors and similar places. Do not use alcohol-based cleaner on touchscreens, try a 580/50 mixture of vinegar and water sprayed on a micro fiber cloth, and then wipe with a second microfiber cloth. Spray antibacterial antiseptic spray in all vents and under all seats. Allow carpets to dry completely to prevent buildup of mold and milden.
